Maplin A93GC dreams of dominance on good looks

Maplin have unveiled their A93GC MP4 player which they truly believe can take a slice of the Nano because it’s ‘easier on the eye’.

As far as I can see it’s not easier on anything except the wallet. It’s being released on November 1st, priced £60 until the end of the year when it goes up to £100.

No real details of what it’ll do yet – if the visuals is it’s main selling point then I’m not holding out much hope – and I’ve not had a great experience with other Maplin audio products either.

It has a 2GB storage, a 1.5-inch display, and can play games as well as displaying photo and video.
