Skype offers free credit for referrals

This seems like a good way to bump up your Skype phone time – as long as you’ve got a few computer-savvy mates – refer your friends for a Skype account and they’ll credit your account.

As far as I can see, there’s no catch – if you’re an existing user, simply get three friends to sign up to Skype and get 30 free minutes of SkypeOut credit. In addition, you and your friends will go into a draw to win gadgets from Skype-friendly firms, including  Sony, Philips, Logitech, USRobotics, Plantronics and SanDisk.
