There’s nothing new about the wind-up radio, but how about one that functions as a torch, a siren in emergencies and charges your mobile phone – like the Eton FR350.

Obviously, it’s eco-friendly, requiring your own elbow grease for power. As a radio, it has FM/AM bands, along with short wave should you need it.
