In what seems like the most ridiculous tie-in ever, Badly Drawn Boy has teamed up with Yahoo! for a competition to get the the beared hat-wearer to play live in your local chip shop.
Yes, go to the Badly Drawn Boy website and you can use a specially-produced Yahoo! map to locate your local shortlisted chip shop. Use the zoom feature on the map to locate your nearest (or favourite) fry-in, rate said establishment and if it wins, the bearded hat-wearer will nip down and play a set while you wait for the next batch of cod out of the fryer.
I’d love to know what the Yahoo! execs make of it all.
