Amadana's high-end desktop sound system
You may recall us featuring the Amadana’s luxurious portable DVD player recently. If you had the money to splash out on that, perhaps you also want to spend lots of money on Amadana’s Desktop Audio too?
In terms of looks, this is very different from the CD player – no polished wood finish here – a more traditional white plastic this time. For your money and in a small box sized 19 x 19 x 19cm, you get a CD player, an AM/FM radio and an alarm clock.
In addition, there’s coaxial two-way speakers, a BBE sound processor and digital amplifier, which, it’s claimed, offers sound reproduction “of a vastly superior quality” when compared with other desk top units. The only way to know for usre if that’s true is to buy one. It’s only available from the Conran Shop, retailing for £365.
