Fujitsu Siemens Lifebook P1610 – ultra-light convertible notebook/tablet PC

Fujitsu Siemens has launched the Lifebook P1610, which it describes as a notebook and an ultra-light convertible tablet PC in one.

Weighing less then 1kg, the Lifebook P1610 has an 8.9-inch TFT WXGA display that can be rotated 180° in both directions. Inside, exact specifications vary dependent on your choice, but expect an Intel Core Solo processor, up to 1GB of DDR2-533 SDRAM, 80GB hard drive Wi-Fi, GPRS/EDGE support, Bluetooth, 2x USB slots and added security, including a built-in fingerprint sensor.

Battery life is good too – up to 4.5 hours. Expect it in stores in the coming weeks, price to be confirmed.
