Homestar Planetarium – see the universe on your wall
If you want to see the universe in all its glory, you’ve got two options. Stay up late for The Sky At Night or buy a big telescope and hope for a clear sky. Now there’s a third option – create the universe in your home with the Homestar Planetarium.
The Homestar Planetarium uses the same lens as a commercial planetarium to show real and detailed constellations – ultra-bright white LED technology enables the projector to beam 10,000 stars skywards. So, just turn the lights off, switch the Homestar on and see the universe in all its glory. Even better, stick on your CD of Holst’s Planets or the 2001 soundtrack for some added mood music.
And if you want some extra excitement, you can also set the Homestar to project shooting stars at random intervals. It comes with two slide discs, a power cable abd batteries, retailing for just under £100.
