The device is essentially a docking station where the images and sound on your iPod can be played on existing screens and sound systems, with the iPod controlled via the included remote control. It’s also a universal dock, so has connectivity for all models.
And of course, the device charges your player, as well as being able to transfer files to and from a PC.
