Yay or Nay: iPod in the air

Yesterday we reported that Air France, Continental, Delta, Emirates, KLM and United Airlines will be upgrading their seats and screens to accommodate the iPod. It’s the latest in the line of companies ensuring that the iPod can be more easily used on the move.
But is it a good thing, or is it unfair to all the other MP3 players out there? After all, providing standard power for any device would be fair; providing it only for one brand seems unfair?
What do you think? Will Apple not rest until they’ve attempted to take over the world with iPod-friendly services?
