Roberts unveils Gemini 49 Virgin DAB
Are you a fan of Virgin Radio? If so, there’s a new DAB that’s just perfect – the Gemini 49 Virgin DAB from Roberts.
What you get, apart from the Virgin logo on the casing, is actually hard to fathom. According to Roberts, the Gemini 49 Virgin DAB “has been exclusively designed to automatically tune to Virgin Radio” – this is through a prominent Virgin Radio dedicated button. But don’t most (if not all) DAB radios have presets anyway?
Apart from that, you do get the benefit of owning one of the most compact, portable mains/battery DABs around – just 40mm in depth, so easy to move from room to room. It’s also got a built-in battery charger to save on running costs and a mains adaptor if you’re near a socket.
Available now, the Gemini 49 Virgin DAB retails for £60.
