CES 2007: Ego takes the iPod swimming
Alas most Brits don’t actually own outdoor swimming pools. And even if they did they’d probably end up spending more time gingerly dipping a toe in the icy water than frolicking about in the pool.
So I can’t see too much demand in the UK for the undeniably cool Ego Waterproof Sound Case iPod speaker system.
This is a shame as it is standard iPod system, with built in speakers etc, that is not only completely waterproof but can also bob up and down on the water delivering music to aid you as you clock up those lengths.
The device, which is compatible with minis, nanos and 4th and 5th gen iPods, will also let you watch video and has enough power to keep the show going for 30 hours.
It goes on sale soon in the US for around $200.
