CES 2007: Samsung K3 MP3 player
Share
For some reason, Samsung was trumpeting its K5 digital audio player as a hot new product today at CES – maybe it hasn’t come out in the US yet. But we were quite taken with its companion K3, which is Samsung’s slimmest MP3 player yet.
It’s just 0.27 inches thick, and has one button. That’s right, ONE button. Okay, and a bunch of other buttons that light up on the 1.8-inch OLED screen when the device is turned on.
There’s a JPEG photo viewer, a built-in FM radio tuner, and like the K5 it works with subscription services like Napster, Rhapsody and Yahoo. The K3 has 25 hours of battery life, and comes in 2GB, 4GB and 8GB models, and is due on sale this March.
