Another iPod add-on to consider, this time iHome iH19, a portable water resistant sports case for iPod.
Although aimed specifically at sporty types and gym regulars, it’s probably more of an all-round protective case and portable speaker unit, described by the manufacturers as the “ultimate modern day ghetto blaster”. And it’s good for taking on your holidays, coming complete with international charger adaptors and water resistance if you are by the pool.
Features include brackets for connecting to exercise equipment or a bike, the option to listen through headphones or the 2 dynamic stereo strontium micro driver speakers and a built-in remote control. It also charges your iPod while you are plugged in and it runs off mains or battery.
