An endless stream of novelty USB drives has passed through these pages over the years, all with one thing in common – amusing, but still just a USB storage device. That’s not the case with the Marco Leone USBKey.
Yes, it’s main function is portable storage – see the image over the turn for the more traditional set-up – but add the rounded base and you can use your drive to play Subbuteo-style table football.
That alone will have me reaching into my pocket. How deep I’ll have to reach I’m not sure – so far the USBKey is just a concept. But if we all show enough encouragement, I’m sure Marco Leone can be tempted to make the design a commercial item.
