Panasonic's DMC-LZ6 and DMC-LZ7 digital cameras
Panasonic’s new digital camera range concludes with the DMC-LZ6 and DMC-LZ7 7.2 megapixel cameras.
They feature the Lumix DC VARIO lens, offering up to 6x optical zoom, with up to 9x zoom in 3 megapixel mode thanks to the Extra Optical Zoom function. It has 8 elements in 7 groups, with 2 aspherical lenses and 3 aspherical surfaces. The camera also features Optical Image Stabilisation, Intelligent ISO Control, and Venus Engine III.
The camera has a bright 2.5-inch LCD (2.0 for the LZ6), 4x optical zoom, 5 AF metering modes, and program AE. It also records movies at 30fps in 640 x 480 and 848 x 480 modes. It has a 27MB built-in memory, and is powered by 2 AA batteries.
It will be available from March 2007, price to be confirmed.
