UK broadband users are paying over the odds for services, uSwitch calculate
Share
The price comparison service uSwitch.com has calculated that, collectively, British broadband users pay £57.6m too much every month for our broadband connections.
That’s based upon uSwitch’s calculation that the average 1Mbps+ connection costs £15 per month, yet 74% of broadband users pay between £17.50 and £35 per month, with the average amount paid in that group being £21.
There are some 13 million households connected up to the Net via broadband, and uSwitch.com are encouraging everyone to search for the best deal – via their website, of course.
Of course it’s not as simple as getting a cheap deal – getting a decent service is something that many people are prepared to pay for.
