Bob Geldof’s production company, Ten Alps Digital, is preparing to luanch a global broadband and TV channel called the “Peace Channel”.
Though details are sketchy, it’s thought that the channel will include video, user-generated content, and social networking features. So, YouTube meets MySpace meets social conscience.
The project is funded by a Norweigian human rights organisation, Point of Peace, and a decision will be taken in the Autumn whether to launch a full service.
