Sewer Robots and Naked Fugitives

From deep in the “Jobs you want a robot to do so you don’t have to” file: a robot in Seoul, Korea, nabbed a naked man from the sewers. The man snatched a purse in a hospital, was caught, slithered out of his clothes, and jumped down a sewer pipe. Officials scouted with a 6-wheeled, camera-equipped sewage pipe inspection robot which eventually found the disoriented and very cold suspect. He was sent to hospital with hypothermia and seems to be more or less fine now, though when asked why he removed his clothes, answered: “Leave me alone. I’m not feeling well.” [GT]
