Sony's Cyber-Shot T20 – 8.1 megapixel camera with full HD output
A glut of new products from Sony today, kicking off the with the Cyber-Shot T20 -an 8.1 megapixel camera with full HD output on a compatible display.
Available in a choice of silver, black, white and pink, the slimline T20 offers 8.1 effective megapixels, a Carl Zeiss Vario-Tessar 3x optical zoom lens and a 2.5-inch LCD screen. Also featured is Sony’s new Face Detection technology – the hardware-based processor can recognise and track up to eight human faces, automatically optimising focus, exposure, flash with red-eye reduction, white balance and colour settings. Double Anti-blur technology and a high sensitivity of ISO 3200 should mean sharper moving images or improved shots in poor light.
Full HD (1080) still images can be played-back on your HD-ready TV using an optional cable and there’s VGA movie recording at 30fps, 28MB internal memory, plus a battery that’s good for 350 shots.
The Cyber-shot T20 will be available throughout Europe from beginning of April 2007 and will be available to preorder.
