It’s actually surprising that it took so long for the Voom-PC2 to come to pass, considering how many weird laptop hacks people have done to their vehicles. The advantage of the Voom is that it’s actually designed to be in a car, so it has some weatherproofing, appropriate wiring, center of gravity, etc. It has an x86 architecture, and is available with a variety of barebones-to-mostly-complete fillings, and various touch-screens. Goes for around $300 USD, plus boards, drives, screens, etc. [GT]
