Delayed from its original February launch date, Apple TV (formerly iTV) has finally gone on sale in the UK – and can be yours for £199.
If you’ve yet to encounter Apple’s latest gadget, it is a way of streaming your iTunes content from your PC or Mac to your living room TV using your home network. That includes music, video, photos, TV shows or movies, all browsable through a TV interface uisng the Apple Remote.
Whether iTunes offers enough video-related content for UK users as yet is open to question. it’s 40GB hard drive, HDMI connectivity and 720p output is more likely to come into its own later on this year. So unless your a desperate early adopter, it might be worth sitting on your hands for now.
