I hate to get up in the morning (so I don’t) and nothing would give me more pleasure than shooting the alarm. Fortunately for all of us haters, Roger Ibars has designed a solution to my problem. The Gun-Operated Alarm Clock uses an old gaming light gun with tilt switches installed to control clock functions. But it can never do what we all really need: make the day 36 hours long and the workday still only last from 2pm to teatime. [GT]
