While the Nintendo Mario Kart DS Track Race Set is nominally intended at those of tender years, I’m pretty sure it’s also my sister-in-law’s idea of a good time. Includes 2 Mario Kart vehicles (Mario and Yoshi), 2 controllers, 18 track pieces and a spiffing background. Claims to provide “hours of fun” as well as “over 9 feet of racing action”, suggesting someone of scientific mind could figure out how many inches of action constituted one hour of fun. Desperately on sale at $30 instead of $70. [GT]
