Ricoh announces GX100 digital camera

Ricoh has unveiled a replacement for its GX8 camera – the GX100.
The big selling point on this is a removable electronic viewfinder that allows you to take pictures in a more traditional manner, although it’s also power-saving – no need to use the included 2.5-inch LCD on the rear. The viewfinder connects via the camera’s hot-shoe connection.
Other features include 10 megapixel resolution, 24 to 72-mm wide (3x) zoom lens, Ricoh’s Smooth Imaging Engine II, RAW support, SDHC expansion and traditional battery back-up for the rechargeable version – all in a body just 25mm thick.
Expect it in a month or so, priced around £399.99.
