Optimus keyboard finally gets price and launch date

We have been writing about the Optimus keyboard for around two years now, but that’s about all as it’s consistently failed to make the market. Well, that looks set to change, with a price and shelf date officially announced.
Hopefully you’ll have been saving since the first announcement with a price tag of $1564 (around £800) for the PC keyboard with an OLED display on every key. Admittedly, it isn’t cheap – but if you want a keyboard with customisable keys and graphics, you’ll have to pay for the privilege.
If that price seems agreeable, you probably need to get your name down now – only 200 will go on sale at the launch in November, though another 200 are expected in December and 400 by the end of January.
