Though the real crime is what they charge for the blasted Wi-Fi at some net cafes, if you think someone is stealing your signal, you could just install a WEP key, or you could go into overkill mode and paint your entire house with EM-SEC coating,a series of water-based shielding products that restrict the passage of airborne RF (Radio Frequency) signal. The manufactures claim that this creates “an electromagnetic fortress”, but let’s not forget that fortresses do have a tendency to burn down, fall over, and sink into the swamp. [GT]
