Photo frames have just taken a step up, No longer a place to show off your latest digital snaps, the Aluratek Digital Lifestyle Device.
The DLD is a 10.5-inch wooden frame (no metallic looks here) that can display high-definition movies through the 1024 x 768 resolution screen, as well we being able to play MP3 files through the on-board speakers.
Format support includes AVI, MP3 and JPEG, there’s 256MB of storage inside and a USB port for adding extra – or indeed larger- files. There’s also good card connectivity too.
So far, this is US only, retailing for $180 (around £95). We’ll let you know of a UK launch as and when.
