Boynq Toastit – toaster-style memory card reader

It takes a lot of imagination to make a memory card reader interesting, but designing one like a kitchen gadget certainly does that.
The Boynq Toastit, as the name suggests, looks not dissimilar to a toaster. Whether your cards pop up after use isn’t clear – I would be very disappointed if they didn’t. Outside of the novelty, this is a 27-in-1 card reader, effectively covering all the major formats, including Compact Flash I & I, MicroDrive, SD, MMC, Memory Stick and xD formats.
It’s USB powered and can transfer via 2.0 to both PCs and Macs. And if you want one, it retails for $30 (around £15).
