Europeans biggest users of Second Life

Europeans make up the biggest proportion of Second Life users according to the latest numbers. Stats released by comScore show that participants in Europe accounted for 61 percent of the active residents of the virtual world.
Of the 1.3 million users that logged in in March, 777,000 lived in Europe. Germany accounted for the most with 209,000 (16 percent) while the UK only managed 72,000, representing a paltry six percent of the virtual population.
North America accounted for 243,000, 19 percent of the total, with the USA making up 207,000 (16 percent).
As a whole, active users increased by 46 percent compared to January. Men are more likely to login, with male visitors accounting for 61 percent of residents.
