Thomas Ballhatchet, the inventor, got so much interest that he actually sat down and tried to make a version that is arguably viable, to the degree that home appliances powered by rodents ever are. But hamsters will automatically shred paper “manually” (or “paw-ually”)–just shove a sheet into its cage and it’ll become bedding material in nop time!
