Microsoft: "Twitter has a long way to go"

For all the hype around micro-blogging service Twitter, it’s still got to prove its worth as a genuinely useful tool, says Kris Hoet, Microsoft’s European ‘blogging ambassador.
“I hope companies and brands find a way to use Twitter to listen and talk to their consumers, hopefully adding more valuable information from both sides. Given the fact that blogging is still ‘new’ to a lot of people, I expect Twitter has a long way to go to grow beyond the 100k-200k users that are using it right now.”
