Ricavision shows off MK140 hi-tech fridge magnet

Calling the Ricavision MK140 a fridge magnet doesn’t really do it justice, it’s more like a miniaturised PC for your kitchen.

Yes, it does stick to your fridge, but this modern-day post-it has a 3.5-inch LCD screen that can store your scribbles – keeping track of your things to do and buy. But there’s more – it’s also Wi-Fi enabled, allowing the Windows-powered device to hook up to your Windows Vista-powered PC, allowing to view your emails or browse the net – if you’re after a quick recipe for example. And it runs for an impressive 16 hours between charges.

There is a downside – Ricavision’s device is still in the concept stage, but it’s a concept wwe would like to see made. We’ll keep you posted.
