SMS M500 Watchfone – the smallest mobile phone heading for your wrist
Miniaturisation – we’ve been promised it since the sixties, but apart fro the odd spycam, it’s not really delivered. Well, until now that is, with the launch of the SMS M500 Watchfone.
Yes, SMS have packed a quad-band mobile into a wristwatch. And a whole lot more too. That includes a 1.5-inch touch screen display with stylus, Bluetooth 2.0, audio (MP2/AAC) and video (MP4) player, 128MB of storage and around 200 minutes of talk or 80 hours standby before a USB recharge is required.
The display offers plenty of information too – time and date, last number redial, recent calls, missed calls, a file manager and the ability to send and receive your text messages.
It’s due to ship out of Hong Kong this month, no price confirmed as yet.
