WhoIsSick? was born of a travel experience by the founder and his wife. She developed stomach cramps while on vacation, and they spent four hours in the hospital in the middle of the night, and took up a doctor’s time, just to find out she probably had a flu. The WhoIsSick? site allows visitors to post about infectious diseases so that travelers (and homebodies alike) can more easily find out whether they’ve got appendicitis or just a virus. [GT]
