Fujitsu Siemens AMILO Pro V3525 laptops get T-Mobile mobile broadband
Sticking a mobile SIM inside a laptop is an increasingly popular notion – witness Vodafone’s partnerships with the likes of Dell and HP. Now Fujitsu Siemens has announced plans to include T-Mobile’s Web’n’Walk mobile broadband service in its AMILO Pro V3525 notebooks via an embedded SIM.
The revamped V3525’s will be available from this July, starting at £599. They’ll also include a tutorial explaining exactly how to get online via Web’n’Walk. It’ll be interesting to see what kind of pricing T-Mobile offers – for example, charging one fee covering Web’n’Walk AND usage of its UK network of Wi-Fi hotspots would be a grand idea.
