Get set for Europe's first Virtual Worlds conference
Hang on a minute, if you’re holding a conference to talk about virtual worlds, shouldn’t it be held in Second Life or World of Warcraft? I daresay there’ll be some whizzy virtuality happening around the European Virtual Worlds Forum in October, but it’s a real-world event too, taking place in London.
The conference will see speakers and bigwigs banging heads on the potential of virtual worlds for converging media, brand marketing and furry-penised avatars consumer engagement. Speakers include the likes of IBM Research, NCSoft, The Multiverse Network and Sulake (the people behind Habbo Hotel).
It takes place on October 24th-25th in London, with more information available via the link below.
