iPhone to come with a Pay-As-You-Go option?
You’ll have to sign up to a two-year contract to get hold of an iPhone, right? Well, perhaps not. The rumours that you’ll also be able to bag Apple’s music mobile on a pay-as-you-go contract have been reignited, after the omission of text stating ‘use requires minimum new 2 year activation plan’ from the first batch of iPhone ads.
iPhonic has the full story, which will have Apple-heads purring. However, with reports that iPhone WON’T work on networks other than those with which Apple signs exclusive deals (AT&T Wireless in the US, for example), it appears you won’t be able to buy a paygo iPhone and then switch SIMs to your preferred operator.
I shudder to think how much a prepay iPhone would cost, too.
