The Pentagon's 'Gay Bomb'
The Pentagon brought new meaning to “don’t ask, don’t tell” with its undercover plans to develop a ‘Gay Bomb’ chemical weapon to, er, turn enemy soldiers gay so they’d start being, er, gay, on the battlefield, instead of fighting, as part of its exploration of non-lethal weapons development. “The Ohio Air Force lab proposed that a bomb be developed that contained a chemical that would cause enemy soliders to become gay, and to have their units break down because all their soldiers became irresistably attractive to one another,” said Edward Hammond, of Berkeley’s Sunshine Project.
