Pentax launches limited edition gold-themed K10D camera package
We featured Pentax’s flagship SLR – the K10D – late last year. So if you want to read the full details and specification, check here. And if that excites you, there’s a limited edition version just been announced to celebrate the camera winning the Camera Grand Prix 2007 Award in Japan.
In fact, the Pentax limited edition K10D camera package is so limited, there’s just 150 available in the UK. This one-off features gold finished Pentax branding, logo and mode dial, along with a new dark brown rubber coating on the body and battery grip. There’s also a specially designed leather camera strap with the award logo and Camera Grand Prix lettering, again in gold. Oh yes, each one is numbered too.
In terms of specification, everything is the same. However, one thing that’s almost certain to be different is the price – we haven’t got that as yet, but I’m guessing all that extra work comes with a premium. Check with your local specialist dealer for that and availability.
