Scalextric Transformers set – more merchandising in disguise

Following on from yesterday’s Transformers speaker, we have yet more opportunist merchandising, this time from toy car giants Scalextric, which has produced a perfectly-timed Transformers set.
Yes, it’s Scalextric with Transformers – you can transform your cars into robots, battle each other as robot characters, knock each other off the track (with extendable arms) and yes, race around the five metres of track too.
Personally, I prefer the Mini racing, but for a blast of 80s nostalgia, you can’t beat it. Available now for £40.
