Shure launches new range of sound-isolating earphones
Looking to upgrade the plugs that came free with your player? Shure has announced details of its range of sound-isolating earphones that we previewed here last month.
The SE210 unit features a Hi-Definition MicroSpeaker for full-range audio with optimal high frequency response and a deluxe fit kit to make sure they stay securely in place. They will retail for £99.99. The SE310 adds Tuned BassPort technology to boost low-end performance as well as that fit kit. Expect to pay £169.99. The SE420 packs in Dual TruAcoustic MicroSpeakers with a dedicated tweeter and woofer for detailed lows, mids and highs, along with a premium fit kit (which I assume is a step up from the deluxe on the previous two models) for £249.99.
Finally, the SE530/SE530PTH has Triple TruAcoustic MicroSpeakers with a dedicated tweeter and dual woofers for an expansive sound and full-bodied bass, along with that premium fit kit and Push-To-Hear Control – claimed to be an industry first for sound isolating earphones. All that will set you back £329.99.
All are available now, with the exception of the SE420, which should be available from July.
