Sony launches colourful VAIO CR-Series notebooks
Sony has a new range of notebooks on the market – the VAIO CR Series – which offers a range of strong colours and the latest generation 14.1-inch widescreen and X-Black LCD screen.
The CR-Series also features a 1.8GHz Intel Centrino Duo 7100 processor, ATI Mobility Radeon graphics, a dual layer DVD burner and Windows Vista Premium and Adobe Photoshop Elements pre-installed. It’s also being pitched as an ideal tool for social networking with a built-in 1.3 megapixel camera, Bluetooth and Wi-Fi.
The new model also has a Click&Play feature, which means you can access your photos, music and DVDs through one screen with a single click. It’s embedded in the PC so there’s no need to power up Windows first. And there’s 2MB of DDR2 SDRAM, 160GB hard drive and fingerprint recognition security.
The VAIO CR-Series will be available from mid-July. No pricing as yet.
