Symmetry offers Thiel's PowerPoint range of surround sound loudspeakers
Speaker maker Thiel is offering its range of PowerPoint surround sound speakers for the first time in the UK, courtesy of hi-fi distributor Symmetry.
The PowerPoint is a surface-mounted, two-way loudspeaker that claims to offer uniform full-room coverage through its angled, close boundary cabinet design. Manufactured from cast aluminium, the wedge-shaped enclosure extends less than 140mm from the wall, but still manages to squueze in a coaxial 6.5-inch woofer and a one-inch tweeter. There’s also a high sensitivity of 89dB and high power handling of 200 watts and for the interior designers out there, a choice of colour or a custom paint job if you wish.
