How do you get a Panasonic 103-inch plasma screen into a sixth floor flat?
Ok, you have the money for a 103-inch plasma screen, but unfortunately, you live in an apartment on the sixth floor in London. What do you do? Close off the road and get a crane in obviously.
That was the case for one buyer of the Panasonic TH-103PZ600 screen this week. In the end, a joint effort between PSCo (Panasonic’s distributor for the large screen) and home automation specialists Chameleon Integration. After weeks of planning, a road in Knightsbridge was closed off on Saturday morning and a crane took two hours to carefully lift the set into place.
How it will be removed when it breaks down or becomes obsolete is anyone’s guess. See over for another image.
