projectiondesign m80 – serious home cinema
The projectiondesign m80 is certainly not the cheapest home projector on the market – but it is making claims to be the best.
This three-chip 1080p DLP is based on the projectiondesign Cineo80 professional projector and offers new technology UHP lamps, patented Du-Arch twin lamp lighting system, a full suite of HDMI 1.3a technologies, 10-bit digital and analogue video processing, built-in optical filtering, RealColor colour management suite and electronic calibration tools, as well as a 50,000:1 contrast ratio and 8000 lumens.
The price will certainly be high – we’ll find out how high when it’s ready for retail, which is likely to be late 2007/early 2008.
