RCA’s TM416 – digital voice recorder meets camera
More convergence, this time with a digital voice recorder doubling up as a camera – the RCA TM416.
RCA is probably best-known here as a record label from days gone by – it’s obviously moved into gadgetry, althoguh not in the UK as far as I know. But if it does make it here, you’ll find a digital voice recorder with a 1.5-inch color LCD screen, 128MB of flash memory and a 0.3 megapixel camera. No, I haven’t got the digits mixed up, this is a pretty basic camera – but it’s better than nothing if you’re depserate to take a snap.
Sold with a clip-on microphone and carrying case. RCA’s TM416 retails for $129.99 (around £65).
