Samsung launches slimline 8.2 megapixel L83T camera
Plenty of new digital cameras around today, the latest of which is the Samsung 8.2 megapixel L83T camera.
Packed into a slim aluminium case is a 2.5-inch LCD screen, 3x optical zoom and an ISO of 1600. It also features Samsung’s Intelligent Face Recognition Technology, which detects the subject’s face, automatically adjusts auto focus and auto exposure to ensure better composition and image quality in portraits. The AF function instantaneously recognises the faces of subjects and accurately focuses on them, before allowing the AE function to take over, setting the appropriate exposure.
There’s also an ASR image stabilisation system, which helps to capture the best images in lower light conditions and Samsung’s Wise Shot automatically takes two consecutive pictures in rapid succession – one with ASR image stabilisation enabled, and one with the flash – which you can review for the best shot. Movie shooting at 30fps, scene modes and an SD card slot complete the package.
Available from August for £179.
