Sony unveils HDR-SR5 HD camcorder with 40GB hard disk
Good news if you fancy capturing some HD footage of Korea, Sony has launched the HDR-SR5 HD camcorder with a 40GB hard disk drive in that very country.
That size of disk should mean 15 hours of HD footage before you need to worry about downloading – more than enough for any holiday. If you want more or don’t want the warts ‘n’ all HD effect, it’s easily HD/SD switchable. Other features include a 37mm diameter Carl Zeiss lens, 2.7-inch LCD screen, up to 80x digital zoom (as well as 14x optical) and 4 megapixel stills.
No news of a European launch, but it should follow soon.
