Apple offers the UK big name TV shows on iTunes
Apple has announced that it is offering a range of big name TV shows to UK consumers via iTunes, each priced at £1.89 per episode.
The shows are provided by Disney’s ABC Studios & Disney Channel, MTV, Nickelodeon & Paramount Comedy, with 28 shows initially on offer including Lost, Desperate Housewives, Grey’s Anatomy and Ugly Betty plus locally-produced UK series such as MTV’s Barrio 19, Nickelodeon’s Genie in the House and Paramount Comedy’s Comedy Blue. All can be viewed on a PC or Mac, 5th-generation iPod or on a TV with Apple TV.
You’ll need iTunes 7 to download the shows, with the shows promised in ‘near-DVD quality’ at a resolution of 640×480
