Bowers & Wilkins unveils the high-end Zeppelin iPod speaker
Bowers & Wilkins is best known for high-end home speaker systems, but it has now floated into the iPod market with a stunning speaker design – the Zeppelin.
Around two feet in size, the Zeppelin houses five drivers, a five-inch woofer, glass-fibre cones, and the same tube tweeters you’ll find in the company’s home speakers. Oh yes – and there’s an output of 100w, which should make the neighbours aware of your new purchase. There’s also connectivity to send images (pictures/video) to a TV.
Not cheap at $599 – and probably even more expensive if and when it makes it to the UK. But you’ll struggle to find a more dazzling dock.
